I'm a flight school student for the navy to be a backseater. I DD an elise SC(mine) and Golf R(girlfriend). I live in Florida and I love making things up. You can ask me anything, and I will make up funny stories that may or may not be true.

I'm 6'1 230lbs. I've been called a lot of things, but I'm not small. I do fit in the lotus, but honestly the cockpits of the planes I've flown in are tiny so I'm perfectly okay with being in a coffin.
Hello
My first car was a 1999 Chevy Astro, 2005 s2k, 2005 wrangler sj now this. Never give a teenager a van with removable seats.

4. What planes do you fly?

Very nice. I've never seen a Lotus here (Avi Marine) but I'm glad to see someone else here appreciates cars. Question though, the Lotus and the R are pretty close in value on the used car market, so what do you like better. Overrall. Which one do you complain less about?

The only creature comfort is the AC. When the top is off you don't notice much of a difference and Pensacola is hot and humid it. With the top on the AC has to be on down here. The car gets very hot in FL. black interior, mid engine with a thin barrier, and I mean sweating hot. I love DDing it. It does leak a touch here and there, but I'm a friendly guy so people take pics and ask a lot of questions I answer and answer them as much as I can.

1. I have more top gun/goose shirts in my closet to never be worn in a military town than I can count. Literally, everyone got me a shirt when I finished and came here for flight school. I've never been to Corpus, but many of my close friends have. Another one just became a cop there actually.

A guy I went to HS with (and who married a girl I once dated) was a flight instructor there. Not a bad place, mostly due to the fact that it's the headquarters of Whataburger.

It's got a Celica GTS engine and drivetrain, which means cheap reliable parts can easily be had. I haven't had any issues with it. The drivetrains are great. The front and rear clams are the reason why people don't DD elise's plus you can't get in and out easily.
My first car was a 99 Astro van.
My favorite car is a Rs200 because it's quirky and insane. My next car will be a viper and eventually I will end up with a diablo one day.

You'll see it going exactly the speed limit on base. I really can't even compare the two. The R is fast, feels heavy, understeers, is very very comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable. The Elise is hot(temp), very showy, difficult to get in and out of, loud, and nimble. I love them both equally. If I am going more than 3 hours I take the R, less than that I take the Elise.

You sort of slide/fall into the seats, which are single piece mold. Exactly like a karting seat. If you don't find them comfortable it would be a reason to walk away. I'm looking at older vipers Gen 2 hopefully. I love vans, one day I'll have another big gold massive old van. I would take an ATV offroading and drive it right into the back of the van without a trailer. Those were the days.

It's very responsive because there is no power steering. It is not the most torquey engine, but you feel the pull when you accelerate. It understeers just a bit, and I'm not sold on the open diff so that may be an upgrade. You get a lot of people especially here in the Redneck Riveria who have no idea what it is, what it costs, or how you own it. The blue makes it jump out on the road, and the engine burble is fantastic.
